About us
Founded in 2014 as a spin-off from the University of Duisburg-Essen, AM POLYMERS GmbH has globally gained high reputation as a specialist in plastic powders for SLS and HSS processes.
Thanks to the tremendous know-how of our team, we have all stages of the production chain under our control. If necessary, we can tailor materials for your application.
With our powder materials we meet your requirements while maintaining easy processing.
Due to this fact we produce batch-to-batch consistent powder materials resulting in parts with particularly high-quality properties.
Your efforts for running-in our products on your machines are significantly reduced. Hence you deliver customer parts within a few days!
Our philosophy: "Plug & Play" instead of "Plug & Pray"!

Case Study
Situation
Airway management is one of the fundamental parts of the emergency medicine curriculum, both in medical students and paramedic students. However, many young doctors and paramedics lack sufficient training in the correct handling of these devices. Due to the high purchase price, many universities and rescue service schools are not able to keep different types of video laryngoscopes ready for teaching at all times.
Solution
With AM Polymers GmbH ROLASERIT® PP01 material, based on Polypropylene with high ductility, a stable, almost realistic imitation can be printed that nearly corresponds to a video laryngoscope in both haptics and handling. The price per blade* is one-sixtieth of the cheapest commercial available video laryngoscope.
Result
98% cost reduction for video laryngoscope for emergency training purposes
